How sweet it is to be home and sleep once again in my own bed. "There's no place like home." Is a saying that rings true for me. Don't get me wrong....I had a great time while I was away, and could have even enjoyed a few more days with good ol' Mom and Dad, but now that I am home, I am glad to be home.
While I was gone I had a lot of fun spening some time with my Mom, Dad, & Sister. We did some shopping, ate out a few times, and just had some good visits. On Monday was Maria's "actual" birthday, and my mom invited all my aunts, uncles, cousions, and grandma over for a birthday party. It was nice to see my grandma, and cousions I grew up with, who now have kids of there own. (It makes me feel old) Our kids played together, while we enjoyed cake and icecream, and Maria opened all her presents...I tell you what that little girl made out like a bandit this year. It makes up for any of the years she didn't have a party, and maybe a few years to come! On Tuesday we went to the mall and did a little shopping (they were having a great clearance sale at JC Pennys...I got a new pair of Jeans for $4.00) And then in the evening we all went to Peter Piper Pizza (It's kind of like Chuck E Cheese) and the kids played games and ate pizza. Hayden had a blast climbing on all the rides, and driving them.
Then on wendsday we headed for home. It was a short, but nice trip.
So now I'm home, and feeilng kind of tired and lazy. i am dreading all that comes with returning home from a trip, (laundry, unpacking etc. etc.) Alyssa stayed in Arizona to spend a couple weeks with my Mom & Dad, so I'm kind of missing her, and looking forward to her comming back. Here are some pictures I took of my family.

So glad that you had a great time with family! Nice to have the big gathering too. Hope that Alyssa enjoys her time there with grandma and grandpa. You pictures are not showing....
Gale: I think I have them fixed now. Are they showing?
They are showing, and wonderful. It is so nice to see pictures of loved ones. They all look well, so good to be with family.
I am so glad you got to see all of your family. How many hours is that away from Colorado? You brave woman! The pictures were great! I bet you are missing Alyssa, I always miss my boys too. Its horrible!
Trina: it is about 12 hours away, but I rode down there with Valerie, so I'm not as brave as you are thinking....then again maybe I am hehehe. I do miss Alyssa and it is still at least 1 week til she gets home.
