Here We Go Again

Well it seems so much has happened since my last post that I don't even know where to begin. Alyssa has made it home, and it is good to have her home once again. All last week my mom was here visiting, so we spent a lot of time getting out and about and keeping busy. We spent some time shopping, and visiting, but I think the most fun we had was when we took a little trip up to Rifle Falls. We packed a picnic lunch, and just spent most of the day hiking around on the trails and in the caves, and then after lunch the girls went swimming. It was really nice to just get out of the house and spend the day together.

Sean left this last weekend to go to Oregon and start his new job out there. I wont be going out there for a few more weeks, because we still have one more month to pay on our lease here....but I am counting down to the day I get to head back to Oregon. I am really looking forward to getting out there and getting settled in our new house. Although I dread the actual "moving process" This will be our 16Th move within our 15 years of marriage....I know what your thinking "That's CRAZY!!".....and your right, it is, but nonetheless here we go again.

Well in reference to my last post, I think I am handling things fairly well. I sometimes have to go back and read that post to remind myself that I can do it, and I just need to take things one day at a time, because when I look at it all in front of me it is still too overwhelming. But I feel I have got it a little more under control, and the things that I have no control over I will just have to let God take care of. On Sunday I went to church, and this time it really did hit home for me! I was put in my place and reminded of my labor for the Lord, and when I am willing to do this labor, with the right heart, I am going to be rewarded. I left feeling very encouraged. I was sitting there thinking about the last time I received a prophecy, and how it has been so long, and I began to think why hasn't God spoken to me in so long....and the I realized he has spoken to me a lot! Maybe not in a prophecy, but through the ministry, testimonies, words spoken by a friend, and just the cool breeze on a hot summers day. He is ever mindful of all my concerns. Just continue to pray for me, because I know I still will need them daily.

Life here has been very busy. Tonight I hosted another family get together. Sean's Grandma was in town, so we had a family dinner at my house, and all of Sean's brothers & sisters and there families came over and visited. It was nice to see Grandma again, it has been quite a few years, so I enjoyed it. But it doesn't look like life will be slowing down much in the next few weeks...I am now in "moving mode" this weekend I will be having a yard sale to once again sell our household items, and get ready for another big move. I am also focusing on finding a house in Oregon, and counting down the days until it happens.....only 23 left to go.....

23 days! Wow! That's not really that long. Especially if you have so much to do!

I saw some kind of quote today, maybe it was from the Bible, and I thought it might encourage you in relation to your last post. So I committed it to memory. But it didn't stay committed very long - I don't remember what it was!

We had some ministry the other day, about how you don't have to actually "receive prophesy" to get prophesy. How up at the pulpit, testimonies, etc. hold not only thankfulness, sharing, and teaching, but you might hear a little bit about something to come, too. Besides, you know what Bro. Denny always says. "Maybe you come to Church wanting a prophesy so bad, and think it's just what you need. But would you be willing to speak that prophesy to somebody else?" For some reason, that is the first thing I thought of when you posted about how you were thinking of how long it had been since you got prophesy. I'm glad that you actually have gotten prophesy recently through everyday "taken for granted" things. I'm glad you're feeling more uplifted. You are such an example to me. I hope to see much, much more of you once you move to Oregon.

Anyway, this is quite the long comment, I better go now.

It is always nice to spend time with family. God knows what you need and he will provide. Those 23 days will fly by. And before you know it you will be in a new home.

This time will soon be over and you will look back on it and be amazed. It will strengthen you in days to come to realize that you were THAT strong. God is good, I stand amazed at His wonderful grace when we are tired. Glad that you are so happy about the move. I hope that we get to see you some. Things are about the same here.

You definately sound encouraged since your last post. 15 moves is a lot, but as I look at all our stuff, I think I should have moved a time or two during the last 26 1/2 years we've lived here. Maybe I wouldn't have so much stuff. I look forward to seeing your family this summer!

I am praying the Lord gives you strength in your body and mind for this move to be easier than you would think and that a rental house is found and you are really happy with it Marisela.

Also I tagged you. I think I commented you in your last post. Go to my blog and you will see the rules. I

However, in light of all you have to do, don't worry if it is too much. We all understand completely.

Well I am the proverbial late commenter...lol I haven't felt GREAT so please forgive me. I can relate to your post completely. It wasnt but a few short months ago our life was in the throws of it all too. God was so good and merciful to us through it all Marisela. I stand amazed at how much He has, and continues to do for us. I am praying for you as well. Its hard to remember what our TRUE purpose is in this life, but when we are able to focus on that its easier to let things go, and to hang on to the things in our lives that are truly important. I love you, and I look forward to seeing you SOON! There are some great houses around here, although it sounds like you guys may be living out aways again. I guess we shall see how it all works out!
